Every night someone in the village of Snuffwick blows out the lamps. Tonight's suspects sit in a circle. One of them is the Snuffer, helped by one or two Soots. Together the Snuffer and the Soots are Smoke. Everyone else is honest.
The truth rule: honest villagers always tell the truth. Smoke always lies, so every statement made by the Snuffer or a Soot is false. Smoke also pretends to have a village role, so a role badge doesn't prove anything.
You know how many Soots there are. Each villager says one thing. Exactly one way of sorting out who is honest, who is a Soot and who is the Snuffer fits every statement, so you never have to guess.
Your goal: find the Snuffer. Tap a villager, then Accuse. You get 3 accusations. A wrong one shows whether that person was honest or a Soot. Use the Honest/Smoke buttons to keep notes. If you have every Soot marked Smoke (and nobody honest marked Smoke) when you catch the Snuffer, you earn a ⭐ full read.
Seats go round the circle, so the first and last seats are neighbours. "Seats away" counts the short way round. Villages grow during the week: gentle on Monday and Tuesday, a long night on Sunday.
A new village at midnight (your time).
